This is a call to all those list members north of wherever they think the cutoff point is, and intrepid enough to sail, drive or crawl out of their winter blues and get a start on the season.

There will be a get together of the intrepid at Cap Sante Marina, Anacortes, on March 5 - 7 2010.

Itinerary will be:

Friday evening, afternoon tea and scones aboard Twowowie, followed by the imbibing of alcohol, for medicinal purposes only, of course.

Saturday morning, time for the Ladies to shop, visit the Spa or scrub the deck.

Saturday evening, supper at The Majestic, followed by a convivial evening of alcohol tasting.

Sunday, breakfast aboard a boat and depart at leisure.

This is the first call, so dates are not yet fixed. If you would prefer other dates, let me know.

So, set your calendar for a weekend of fun and medicinal tasting. Just the thing to shake off the winter blues and get the new sailing season under way.

How?

Cap Sante Marina has full service moorage available and parking for RV's without hookups. (short walk to the Majestic) Full service RV campgrounds are also available locally.

Program:

Friday 5 March. Arrive at Cap Sante and take hot toddy on Twowowie. If still sober, stagger to other boats and deplete their booze supplies.

Saturday March 6. Time for shopping and boat visiting. Evening at the Majestic Inn and Spa as per last year.

Sunday 7 March. Breakfast on Destiny and leave at leisure.
