Here is the un-Official announcement
"The Parade of Happenings".
First there was the BIG BANG.
2nd.. The dinosaurs died and made big puddles of oil
3rd... VP Cheney decided to have a war to Protect "Our" oil.
4th.. Someone asked if anyone was going to the Seattle Boat Show.
5th...I answered that I was going the last weekend.
6th.. Someone queried.."Will there be a dinner get-together?"
7th,. No one answered quickly..
8th Then I open my big FAT mouth..and mentioned that I would be "Seen" at the Greek restaurant Costa's Opa in Fremont.
9th.. There,then was a Heated discussion about the Merits of RETSINA wine.
10th..I proposed that anyone able to crawl in.. might want to Also enjoy the Greek food. I'd buy their first taste of RETSINA.
11th..Then PET asked if there was a Vegetarian menu
12th.. Which unbeknownst to this Retsina drinker.. was a joke.. something about "Lamb being served" (ask her what that means)
13th.. Dennis the Menace, Suggested that we all hang out at the dinner.
14th.. I suggested Saturday 31,
15th.. One or two List members said that THEY would show up..
16th.. So.... That is all it takes to make it officially an un-official Cascadian Event

I have called the COSTA'S OPA restaurant (In Fremont).. And placed a "Maybe" reservation for from 10 to 20 RESTINA drinkers...
